Volunteer Your Time

The Allen County Partnership for Water Quality relies on adult volunteers like you to reach citizens with water resource education and outreach.

During the summer months we accept volunteers to staff our children's booths at summer fairs and festivals in Allen County. These fairs and festivals are a fun way to interact with children and their parents and introduce them to the importance of clean, healthy water.

During the school year, the ACPWQ accepts help from residents who would like to reach students with classroom presentations about water. This volunteer opportunity is perfect for retired educators, pre-service teachers, or parents who would like to get involved in teaching local kids about our water resources. All supplies, lessons and training are provided by the ACPWQ.

If you have other ideas or abilities that you think could help, such as desktop publishing or photography, contact us about those specific opportunities.
